Good idea Shannon,
You are right, we need to become more visible, we need to get out to the professional sector.
Reach out to Elder Law Attorneys, Financial Planners, Home Health Care companies and more.
Getting with the local news paper to introduce the new reverse mortgage is a great idea, I am sure most have not thought about that at all. I know that I will pass this along to the sales staff of the bank I am consulting for and others!
Great job Shannon,

Even though most will not succeed in several of the areas mentioned in the vlog, how will anyone know until they try? In some cases, it will take increased training, self study, reaching to those who are successful in the area you want to emphasize, and more.
We do not have a new HECM but we do have a very different one, one with better consumer protections and better screening in the prevention of future problems.
Without better sales outreach, the HECM will continue in its present secular stagnation with peaks and valleys and maybe continuing its present downward slope. We need to turn this around but doing the same things over and over expecting better results is insanity. Our future is still bright but we need to change with the times.
