This is both news and not so good. Many in the industry are calling the higher endorsements for the last two months as termination demand. The cloudy situation will continue until July 1, the deadline for fixed rate Standard endorsements.
So how much of the current endorsement numbers relate solely to fixed rate HECMs? Where are we headed? Unfortunately HUD is not providing the information needed to make those determinations.
