Good Life – Good Choices

A good life can be found in good choices. The choice to invest our time and energy in our business, family, marriage, or relationship. The choice of what kind of food you put into your body will either build you up or ultimately harm you. Your choices begin the moment you wake up. Do you hit snooze on the alarm or get up and start your day early as you planned? Do you fiddle with that addictive device called your phone during a Zoom meeting, or when talking with your partner or do you practice being fully present?

As a reverse mortgage professional you have many choices to make in the coming months and years. Such as where should I focus my marketing efforts. What disciplined activities am I willing to commit to that will help me attract new reverse mortgage borrowers?

Every choice determines who you are and the kind of life you’ll live. Think of the thousands of small seemingly insignificant choices you make as threads in a blanket—each of those threads matters, but even more so together.

  1. I have an older spouse who I will no longer be living with. I want to do a HECM for purchase loan. I don’t want him on title, deed, or loan. He doesnt want to fill out a loan application. Do I need to disclose that I’m married to him? Does he have to do anything at all since he does not want to participate with this home purchase or live there?.
